Customer proof and testimonials
Effective: 24 July 2026 Last reviewed: 24 July 2026
This page explains, in plain terms, how VANVOX LTD handles customer testimonials, reviews and other customer proof for VanVox. Our standard is simple: we publish a customer statement only when we can prove the source is real, permission was given for that exact wording, and the wording is accurate. Until then, we publish nothing rather than fill the page with claims we cannot stand behind.
VanVox is a WhatsApp-first service that helps UK sole traders and small businesses turn messages and voice notes into draft quotes, invoices and expense records that you review and confirm. This page is not an advertisement and it is not a guarantee of results. Read it alongside our Trust Centre, Privacy Notice and contact routes.
1. How we evaluate customer stories
Before any customer statement is published, we check that:
- the source is a real, identifiable customer, or is clearly handled as anonymous;
- the customer gave explicit permission for the exact wording and where it appears;
- the wording accurately reflects what the customer meant;
- any change that affects meaning was approved by the customer;
- sensitive details and other people’s information are excluded;
- the statement is still current, and can be corrected or withdrawn.
We do not create, paraphrase or AI-generate testimonials, and we do not turn ordinary product feedback or WhatsApp messages into public quotes.
2. Publication requires permission
We never assume permission. Using VanVox, sending feedback, or not replying to a request is not consent. We ask specifically whether we may publish a statement, in what wording, with what attribution, and where. Permission given for one place or one wording does not carry over to another; we ask again.
3. Material edits require approval
We may trim length, fix an obvious typo, or remove sensitive or third-party details. Any edit that changes the meaning, strengthens a claim, or adds a number is a material edit, and we only publish it after the customer approves the final wording.
4. Individual examples are not guarantees
A customer story describes one person’s individual experience. It is not a guarantee, a promise of results, or a statistically significant outcome, and your experience may differ. We do not generalise from a single example, and we do not publish numbers such as time saved, money saved or percentage improvements unless the customer has substantiated that specific figure and agreed we may publish it.
5. Anonymous feedback has limited verification value
Where a statement is published anonymously, we label it clearly as anonymous. Anonymous feedback cannot be independently verified by you, the reader, so it carries limited verification value. We never present anonymous feedback as independently verified, and we never use it to claim a rating or a “trusted by” figure.
6. How incentives are disclosed
If a customer received any incentive, discount, gift or payment in connection with a statement, we disclose that clearly next to the statement. We also disclose any close relationship between the customer and VanVox where it could affect how you weigh what they say. Undisclosed incentivised testimonials are not acceptable.
7. Correction and withdrawal
If you are a customer whose statement we publish, you can ask us to correct it or take it down at any time, and you can ask us to delete the underlying evidence we hold. Contact us through the contact page and we will act promptly. Expired or withdrawn statements stop appearing on the site.
8. Report a questionable claim
If you think any customer proof on this site is inaccurate, misleading or published without permission, please tell us through the contact page. We will review it and, where needed, correct or remove it.
9. Verified customer stories
We are in beta, and we are preparing verified customer stories. We would rather show nothing than publish a testimonial we cannot stand behind, so this section is intentionally empty until we have statements customers have explicitly approved for publication. VanVox does not currently hold independently verified reviews.
